Atlanta, GA: Takeuchi-US, a global innovation leader in compact equipment, has hired one new person and promoted two team members to the position of regional parts coordinators. Mario Reese and Mary Towsey were both promoted, while Dustin Reed is a new hire.

These opportunities are in response to a growing parts department and enhancing product support efforts to better service customers. Since building a larger distribution facility on the Takeuchi campus in late 2015, the parts department has expanded its personnel and looks forward to the continued growth and opportunities over the next few years.

Mario Reese

After working in the Takeuchi warehouse, Reese was promoted to northwest regional parts coordinator. He has several years of warehouse experience and inventory management skills that fit the requirements that are needed to support the dealers.

“Mario has been with Takeuchi since 2015 and knows the equipment and parts very well,” said Bethany Klitzke, national parts manager at Takeuchi-US. “He has a lot of experience in this area and it was an easy decision to promote him to this position.”

Mary Towsey

With over 15 years of customer service experience, Towsey was promoted to the position of southeast regional parts coordinator. She has worked in the Takeuchi parts department for nearly a year.

“Mary has extensive customer service experience and has done a great job with the tasks that have been assigned to her,” said Klitzke. “She is very good at expediting customer returns and has past experience with returns and freight claims. We have no doubt she will excel in her new role.”

Dustin Reed

Reed comes to Takeuchi after working for an equipment dealer over the past two years. In his previous position as parts and sale representative / warehouse manager, he oversaw equipment inventory and parts.

“Having dealer experience is a big plus,” said Klitzke. “In addition, Dustin already has excellent parts knowledge and can relate to customers. He really rounds out our team well and it will be a smooth transition.”
