On the Move

We have had some big promotions, newcomers and new dealers here since our spring newsletter. Take a look at our people on the move and our newest dealers:

PROMOTIONS:

 

 

David Steger: David has recently been promoted to global training manager. The newly created position will help better serve our global market by providing the latest technical training to Takeuchi subsidiaries and distributors around the world. David has been a key part of the Takeuchi team since 2004.

 

 

 

David Caldwell: David has been appointed to national product manager. In his new role, he will be responsible for national sales training events and overseeing the direction and daily tasks of the product team. David has been the product and training manager for us for the past six years.

 

 

 

Hampton Wideman: Hampton transitioned to the position of western regional business manager. In this position, he will be responsible in his territory to manage dealer relationships, develop new and existing markets, assist with inventories, and direct sales plans and program promotions. Previously, Hampton was the southwest regional business manager for the past two years. Hampton brings a wealth of experience with him in his new role.

 

NEW HIRES:

 

Scott Mobley: Scott was hired as the southwest regional business manager. He will be responsible in his territory for managing dealer relationships, developing new and existing markets, assisting with inventories, and directing sales plans and program promotions. Scott brings nearly 20 years of experience in the construction equipment and related businesses. Additionally, he has experience in both the rental and wholesale side of the equipment business.

 

Michael Shebetka: Michael is the newest member of our team, hired to the position of product and training manager. He will be in charge of product information and training for both dealers and field representatives. Additional responsibilities include performing the role of product trainer at our national training events at our U.S. headquarters, as well as out in the field. Michael was previously employed here for nearly five years as a regional sales manager before moving back to his hometown in Cedar Rapids, Iowa, to be an outside sales representative for Martin Equipment.

 

NEW DEALERS:

New Tec, Inc.: We are excited to start a partnership with New Tec, Inc., which serves 17 counties in Northwest Iowa. Headquartered in Hull, Iowa, the full-service dealer will carry the full line of Takeuchi equipment.

Established in 2004, they are known for new and used forklift trucks and construction equipment. New Tec, Inc. has additional branch locations in Storm Lake, Iowa, and Sioux Falls, South Dakota. In addition, the dealer holds a partnership with Rental-All Inc., which will carry our machines at their locations in Storm Lake and Sioux Center, Iowa, and Sioux Falls.

Richardson Service 1991 Inc.: Located in Conway, South Carolina, Richardson Service 1991 Inc. started out as a small local repair shop and has since grown to include a large rental fleet of construction equipment. They also improved all aspects of their repair facility to offer customers the best service and repair shop in the area. They serve five counties in the Conway area and offer the entire line of Takeuchi equipment.
