Takeuchi-US Welcomes Two New Dealers:

Kirby-Smith Machinery, Inc.

Kirby-Smith serves the construction, paving, mining, pipeline, aggregate and industrial customers in Oklahoma and Texas. The dealer now has 10 locations in the U.S. with Takeuchi products available in six of the dealer’s stores. They will provide professional sales, rental and aftermarket support for full lineup of Takeuchi products. “Kirby-Smith has tremendous customer loyalty due to its strong service reputation,” says Kim Robinson, director of sales at Takeuchi. “This along with taking an active role in our industries has led them to expanding throughout the south. We are looking forward to our partnership and know they will do a great job with the Takeuchi offering.”

Penn Jersey Machinery

Penn Jersey serves customers in northern New Jersey. The company is part of the Flagler CE Holdings Company, which also includes Flagler Construction Equipment, a Takeuchi dealer in Florida. Moving to Middlesex, New Jersey in June, they offer equipment for sale, rent and product support. “Penn Jersey is a known dealer in the marketplace and is a well-established business,” says Kim Robinson. “We look forward to a great partnership and expanding our brand in the New Jersey area.” Welcome Kirby-Smith and Penn Jersey Machinery!

New Team Members

Scott PlacePlease welcome Scott Place to our team. He was appointed as the director of national accounts earlier this year and will be responsible for overseeing current national rental accounts and potential large fleet buyers. Scott brings over 20 years of experience managing rental locations, dealer locations and more recently the rental industries largest national accounts. Congratulations, Scott!

The parts department has hired one new person and promoted two team members to the position of regional parts coordinators. These opportunities are in response to a growing parts department and enhancing product support efforts to better service customers. Congratulations to Mario Reese, Mary Towsey and Dustin Reed!

 

 

 

Mario Reese Mario Reese
After working in the Takeuchi warehouse, Mario was promoted to northwest regional parts coordinator. He has several years of warehouse experience and inventory management skills that fit the requirements needed to support the dealers.
Mary Townsey Mary Towsey
With over 15 years of customer service experience, Mary was promoted to the position of southeast regional parts coordinator. She has worked in the Takeuchi parts department for nearly a year.
