Takeuchi Welcomes Four New Dealers

We are looking forward to working with four new dealers.

Mitchell Tractor & Equipment: Based in Washington, North Carolina, the dealer has been owned and operated by President Jack Mitchell since 1967. They serve agricultural and construction customers in eastern North Carolina.

“Takeuchi manufactures its machines with the operator in mind, from the large and comfortable cabs to the durability of the product, as well as the support they put behind the brand,” says Mitchell. “Our customers are receiving tremendous value with these new units and we are looking forward to a great partnership with Takeuchi.”

Nueces Power Equipment: Established in 1989 out of Corpus Christi, Texas, the company supplies a wide range of new, used and rental construction equipment throughout the central, southern and western parts of Texas, in addition to southern New Mexico. Nueces will carry Takeuchi’s compact excavator and track loaders in their Houston and San Antonio locations.

“We aim to be the one-stop shop for any equipment our customers want or need,” says Rodney Bishop, general sales manager at Nueces. “Prior to our relationship with Takeuchi, our offering mostly consisted of heavy equipment. Having compact equipment will only boost our lineup, and our loyal customers are already excited to be able to buy and rent Takeuchi machines.”

Halo Autosports: The Brooksville, Florida dealer is in its seventh year of business. Halo originally planned to only sell used automobiles before adding off-road vehicles, ATVs and dirt bikes. They ultimately ventured into the commercial agriculture space, adding light industrial and construction equipment to their offering.

“The Takeuchi lineup makes an excellent ancillary offering to our existing customer base and brings new buyers to the local market,” says Heather Craig, owner and founder of Halo. “We are excited to expand with Takeuchi, which will bring in an entirely new audience for us. Their equipment is top notch and is a great fit with our company.”

SMS Equipment: Headquartered in Acheson, Alberta, Canada, the company has over 35 locations across Canada and one in Anchorage, Alaska to support Takeuchi. Celebrating 10 years in the business, SMS Equipment partners with world-renowned brands, providing equipment sales and services to the utility, construction, forestry and mining industries.

“We are pleased to sell and support Takeuchi’s line of compact equipment through our branches in Canada and Alaska,” says Mike Granger, president and CEO of SMS Equipment. “Takeuchi provides solutions in the compact market that are highly customizable for construction and utility applications.”

Takeuchi Welcomes New Team Member

We have established a new position within the company as we welcome a new colleague to our growing team.

Jim Ramsdail has joined our team as the new technical trainer and content developer. His primary role will be helping to conduct the instructor-led technical training to our subsidiaries and distributors around the world.

An additional responsibility is assisting in new content development as we expand delivery training and knowledge to better serve our distribution network.

A U.S. Navy veteran, Jim has over 20 years of experience in the agricultural, construction and industrial equipment industry.

“It is great to be part of a growing Takeuchi team and I believe this position is a perfect fit with my experience,” says Jim. “I am looking forward to the opportunity of conducting training and continuing to develop the brand around the world.”
