Clay Eubanks Celebrates his 30th Anniversary at Takeuchi

On September 19th Takeuchi-US celebrated a milestone anniversary with their president, Clay Eubanks. Clay has been with Takeuchi since 1984, making that 30 years of dedication, devotion, and hard work. It all started when Clay’s mother, who was working at his high school, received a call looking for a student to work part-time in the Takeuchi warehouse. He worked his high school years in the warehouse before graduating and attending Georgia Tech University and then ultimately going fulltime with Takeuchi; where he has been ever since.

Over the course of 30 years, Clay has held numerous positions from floor sweeper to regional business manager, to president. With his vast knowledge of Takeuchi and pure determination, he has managed to keep the company strong and assemble a team of people that not only supports the dealer network, but stands proudly behind the products that they sell and support.

Selling and supporting the Takeuchi brand is the number one priority for Clay and his team. Under Clay’s guidance, Takeuchi-US has established a strong dealer network and support staff that represents just over 100 dealers and their 200 locations within North America.

During the anniversary celebration there were several slideshows of Takeuchi-US through the years, and one presentation based off an old TV program, “Clay Eubanks, This is Your Life.” Master of ceremonies, Angy Lamb, did a great job narrating through the stories that dealers and Takeuchi team members sent in. Clay didn’t miss a beat and guessed where each and every story came from. It appears that he knows his team members and dealers very well. Mike Ross, Vice President of Operations, presented Clay with his official 30 Years of Service Award from the Takeuchi-US team!

Clay’s wife Betsy, and his father Reverend Lyndon Eubanks were able to join in on the fun. While it wasn’t easy, his family and our team were able to keep the surprise celebration under wraps until the big day. The day was full of good memories and stories that were shared about Clay and how Takeuchi-US has evolved over the years, and evolved it has. Many things change in a span of three decades, but one thing has always remained the same at Takeuchi-US: that is the hard work, determination, and devotion of Clay – Takeuchi wouldn’t be the same without him. Congratulations Clay, here’s to a great 30 years and many more to come.
