Takeuchi Appoints Ron Snyder as National Service and Warranty Manager

Atlanta, GA: Takeuchi-US, a global innovation leader in compact equipment, has announced that the company has appointed Ron Snyder as the National Service and Warranty Manager. He will be responsible for the entire service department, including four Regional Sales Managers, one National Service Training Manager, and one Customer Service Support Manager.
Snyder was hired in March of 2015 and held the position for seven months before the recent announcement. In his short duration at Takeuchi, he has already made an impact in improving several key warranty and service department functions. He previously worked for Deutz Corporation for 17 years before coming to Takeuchi, where he worked in similar positions to his assumed role.
“Ron brings with him a great background in service and engine training from years of experience at Deutz,” said Mike Ross, Director of Operations at Takeuchi-US. “In his short time at Takeuchi, Ron has quickly demonstrated the leadership skills to handle any situation. He also knows and understands how to support our dealers and customers, and does so with a very calm and professional demeanor. Also, his organizational skills are exceptional and will be key to helping Takeuchi reach new heights in service support.”
Takeuchi Realigns Service Department to Enhance Product Support Efforts

Atlanta, Georgia: Takeuchi-US, a global innovation leader in compact equipment, has announced that they have realigned their service department to provide the best possible technical service and warranty support to customers. The changes include Tom Reichling who assumes the Northwest Regional Service Manager position, Gary Bryan moves to Service Support Manager, and Joe Topia is now the National Service Training Manager.
The moves are all positive changes in the structure of the Takeuchi Service Department. The changes better align each employee with the position and responsibilities that maximize the Takeuchi product support experience for both customers and dealers.
Tom Reichling, in his new position as Northwest Regional Service Manager, will be responsible for the service and warranty support for the Midwest to the Northwest (Ohio to Alaska), which also includes Western Canada. As Service Support Manager, Gary Bryan will handle all of Takeuchi’s service and warranty for their National Accounts (United Rentals, Sunbelt Rentals, Hertz, and Neff Rentals). He will also work with the Regional Service Managers on any difficult warranty and service issues. Joe Topia’s responsibilities as the National Service Training Manager is to provide technical service training for all Takeuchi dealers.

Takeuchi Introduces the TS80 Skid Steer Loader to Their Lineup

Atlanta, GA: Takeuchi-US, an innovative global leader in compact equipment has recently updated their product offering with the introduction of the all new TS80 skid steer loaders that are available in both radial and vertical loader arrangements. The TS80 series are the largest models in the Takeuchi skid steer product line that also includes the TS50 and TS60. Highly maneuverable and powerful, the large frame TS80 series loaders deliver an outstanding blend of performance, durability, and operator comfort.
The new TS80 skid steer loaders feature a 74 hp Final Tier 4 Deutz engine that delivers an impressive 192 ft. lb. of torque at 1,800 rpm. A key benefit of the new Deutz engine is its simple maintenance free Diesel Oxidation Catalyst (DOC) that does not require regeneration, cleaning, or Diesel Exhaust Fluid (DEF).
Takeuchi TS80R2 Skid Steer
The TS80R2 features an operating weight of 7,950 lbs. and a rated operating capacity of 2,825 lbs. The bucket breakout force on the TS80R2 is 5,845 lbs., with a lift arm force of 7,080 lbs. and a maximum hinge pin height of 10 ft. 5 in.
Takeuchi TS80V2 Skid Steer
The TS80V2 is heavier than its radial counterpart with an operating weight of 8,965 lbs. and a rated operating capacity of 3,500 lbs. Bucket breakout force on the vertical model is 5,920 lbs., with a lift arm force of 6,200 lbs, and a maximum hinge pin height of 10 ft. 10 in.
Comfortable to operate, the TS80 skid steers feature a functional and well-equipped operator’s station that now includes a lower threshold for easier entry and exit for the operator. Several new options are now available and include ride control, bucket positioning, and high-flow auxiliary hydraulics to increase both productivity and versatility.
