Job Summary:

The Region Business Manager (RBM) is responsible for all development and activity in the assigned region. This includes dealer development, dealer recruitment, inventory control, collections (parts and machines), forecasting, program promotion and communication, dealer sales planning, dealer goal setting, dealer performance evaluations, and most importantly, achieving the region market share goal.

Essential Functions:

The RBM is a professional sales executive that is responsible for the business development of the region. The RBM will be held accountable for all areas of the region and their job performance will be judged on the same. The Atlanta Office will provide the tools required to assist in the fulfillment of the RBM’s responsibilities. The RBM will be expected to communicate in a professional manner with and utilize all Atlanta staff, handle conflict resolution with the dealers/customers in the territory, carry out the company strategies as directed and achieve the mutually agreed upon regional sales and market share goals. As Dealer Prospecting and Dealer Recruitment are key job requirements for the success of this position, the RBM must possess the critical business and market evaluation skills necessary to find the best dealer for each market within the region. In short, the RBM must be able to identify all dealer prospects, evaluate to determine the best prospect, and finally close the prospect. The RBM must demonstrate an aggressive, competitive, and entrepreneurial desire to build the strongest sales region in the company. Other duties may be required as assigned.

Job Summary:

The Region Product Manager (RPM) is responsible for all retail sales and training in the assigned region. This includes dealer retail sales development, retail sales calls, customer visits, retail sales program promotion and communication, dealer sales planning, and region retail sales goal achievement.

The RPM will be held accountable for all areas of the region and their job performance will be judged on the same. The Atlanta Office will provide the tools required to assist in the fulfillment of the RPM’s responsibilities. Requirements, Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

 

       

  • Four year college degree preferred or equivalent position experience.
  • General proficiency in computers.
  • Working understanding and use of Microsoft Excel, Word and PowerPoint.
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication.
  • Related experience or interest in the construction equipment field or experience with business travel, dealers and retail salesmen.
  • Ability and desire to travel weekly; road warrior.
  • Valid Drivers License.
  • Extremely driven and goal oriented.
  • Capability to execute and complete position requirements with little or no supervision.

    Job Title:

    Regional Service Representative

    Location:

    Pendergrass, GA

    Job Summary:

    Support the sales territory by establishing business partnerships with the dealer/distributors to provide exceptional after the sales service and support for them and their customers who have purchased or use Takeuchi products.  This support includes service issues, warranty issues, technical support, and service training.  Also performs duties including troubleshooting, machine service or repairs, modifications, and testing new products.

    Essential Functions:

    • Receives telephone and email request for technical support, concerns or complaints regarding equipment performance, service related questions, and all warranty related issues. Field questions regarding equipment performance specifications or capacities.
    • Processes all warranty claims for a specific territory or region.  This includes, reviewing the claim, requesting additional information when necessary, inspecting causal parts when required, and making final decisions to approve or deny claim.
    • Provides ongoing training to dealer/distributors by teaching local and regional service schools. 
    • Travel approximately two weeks per month to dealer/distributor locations for infield training of service techs, teach regional service schools, and to resolve any service or warranty issues.
    • Plays vital role in working with home office to keep all reference literature such as parts books or service manuals current with the most up to date information and is responsible for distributing these updates to other departments.

    Additional Responsibilities:
    Performs other related duties as assigned.

     

    Requirements, Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

    • High school diploma or equivalent

    • Professional or technical training in mechanics a plus but not required.

    • Minimum of Two years experience providing Service assistance

    • Working knowledge of diesel engines, hydraulic, and electrical systems

    • General proficiency in computers and basic understanding of Microsoft operating systems

    • Ability to follow detailed written or oral instructions

    • Capability to execute and complete required task with little or no supervision

    • Valid driver’s license

    • Ability and desire to travel at least two weeks per month

    • Hold valid passport or able to obtain passport
